My final post of this year’s 52 Portrait project is here. A day late, but that’s okay. I’m sure you’d understand one’s need to sleep after staying up longer, having too much fun with friends and family, who gathered together in the last hours of 2014.
Allow me to share some of the things I feel grateful for in the year 2014 (don’t worry, I have a lot of things I am grateful for, but I am only sharing the short version here):
- I am grateful that I am surrounded by lovely friends and family who helped me to navigate my ways through 2014. A small number of these individuals are captured above, the rest I didn’t get to capture in the midst of the new year’s celebration last night
- I am grateful and glad that I successfully completed 2014’s personal photography project, despite hiccups here and there. There was so much to learn
- I am grateful for people who have put up with me and allowed me to practice my skills in portrait photography on them
- I am grateful for those who trusted me to be involved in their project and paid good money for my services (yes you, my clients of 2014!).
I still don’t know what my next project of 2015 will be. But be sure, there will be something. As a part of my resolution, I will commit myself to hold myself accountable for my own growth. No more BS, no more excuses. I have a good feeling about this new year. I’m sure it’s going to be challenging like any other years, but I think it will be exciting. I am allowing myself to be optimistic. Try it!
I wish you all a glorious year ahead. Happy New Year 2015.
Congrats on completing your project as well! Do you follow Click It Up a Notch? She has a great blog and just posted some ideas for photo projects for the new year. Worth a look if you haven’t seen it: http://clickitupanotch.com/2014/12/photography-project-ideas-2/

Nice blog you have 🙂
thanks! I know it’s been awhile since my last post, but watch this space for the new photo project (if I can get anything organised at all, really)..x
