Portrait Project – 41/52

Portraits of family in the ‘wild’. This was our first camping since last summer (January 2014), so it’s been awhile; and it seemed that everyone was missing it. The time spent outdoor was enjoyed to the max. Dog especially loved to bask in the morning light.

Day 184 #Project365

184-365 web.jpg

I loved morning sun like this, especially in winter. It promised so much for the rest of the day. I love it when the sun hit my deck with low strong light like this, unfortunately it always happens at the craziest time in the morning. The getting-ready-to-school rush. A quick jump to the freezing world outside followed by some manic shots then I was already back inside to rush the kids to take their vitamins and clean their teeth.

This block of wood is one of my candle holders that’s been standing outside for a while. I love how the sun just highlighted that thick layer of dust on the candle holder and the lace of spider web around it.

52-365 spider web

This morning I ventured my backyard trying to find water drops on plants since it was raining last night. And the sun around 8 in the morning was at the perfect angle to make a decent photo of whatever water drops I could find.

But then, I saw this. This very large spider web just sprawled among the rose-bush, and I would have missed it if it didn’t gleam reflecting the sun with its silvery threads. What a perfect web.

PS: In case you didn’t know I have this fascination with spiderweb, check out my past post {37/366}).
