Local food vendors, Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne.
The girl, an alleyway and an orange Vespa. Enjoying ‘blusukan’ in Melbourne.
It’s a take-photos-from-archive kinda post today, I’m afraid. One child of mine was not feeling too well, it’s very challenging to get more than 3 metres radius away from her, let alone be inspired to take one awesome shot.
These pictures were taken a month ago in Melbourne while I was enjoying my Me time there. Now summer is only days away in this part of the world, and I’m looking forward to see more beach scenery like these!

My laptop has been giving me grieve the whole day there was no way I could access my library or download anything from my camera today. Luckily there are some images in my camera roll that I can use for today’s post. Here are some of the colorful graffiti that I spied with my little eyes during my walk around the alleyways of Melbourne.

Coming back from a short visit to Melbourne left me tired and somewhat rejuvenated. I heard that to get to know and ‘explore’ Melbourne you have to do it on foot. Do the laneways. Walk some more. Eat, drink coffee, stop for some sweets, eat, and walk some more. And just absorb it all up. And that was exactly what I did.
As soon as I arrived I went straight to pick up a lens that I hired for the duration of my stay there. Armed with the 24-70mm (one of my dream lens), off I went to explore the city. And I gotta say, I loved it! Based on the quality of coffee alone, I could just pack up now and happily move there. I mean, seriously, you can close your eyes, do a spin, and point to a direction, follow that direction, and buy coffee from the first place you find, guarantee the coffee is gonna be GREAT. I don’t know how they do it, but they do it reaaaalllyyy well. I had no complains, and I am super picky when it comes to coffee.
I met some wonderful friends (planned meeting and by chance) who were so kind to show me more. I’ve captured hundreds of images, but for today I will only share you this one. This is one of my fave captures from the visit.
(almost) going…going…GONE
