Day 288 #Project365

288-365

What a nice weekend this has been. Super busy, but nice. Today I said good bye to the school holiday and looking forward to the week of school-holiday-recovery ahead.

This is a gorgeous photo. I hope my brother has a girl next so that I can dress her in tutus and sunshine! : )ReplyCancel

Day 285 #Project365

285-365 flying fairy

In this wet day we found ourselves landed in a place of pink and purple. Never thought that such place exists, oh but it does. Flowers and mushrooms seemed to be the chosen plants, while rainbows and stars could be seen (almost) in every corner. I was lucky enough to capture this flying fairy before she went off and joined her giggling/dancing/hopping friends.

Day 283 #Project365

283-365 baby R

Aside from nice to look at, having a baby around also can also help to keep you warm. If you are lucky enough to hold/cuddle him, that is. Baby R did not disappoint. Not only he was an eye candy, he was also the source of warmth, for some of us, in this nice but still quite cool day.

Cute pudgy hands were the focus for today’s image. Gotta love those little fingers..!

Day 282 #Project365

282-365 ripped jeans

Saying goodbye is always hard. This time I had to say goodbye to an ‘old friend’. This old jeans of mine and I have gone way back. We were perfect for each other, we were together almost every day. It was like a match made in heaven. (We all know how hard it is to find the perfect pair of jeans.)

Then I started noticed a rip, but I didn’t care. The rip was ‘expected’, you see, it was a ‘controlled’, pre-destressed from the manufacturer kinda rip. So it was fine. Totally gave this pair a bit of character.

Then the rip got larger, then they were more and they were everywhere through the usual tear&wear along the years. Cut the story short, the long pants became a ripped bermuda, and we were still cruising along together through many summers. Oh, they happy days.

This year’s spring clean forced me to have a close look on all my clothes, and I noticed more rips and tears on my favourite pair than I could care to admit. The time has come to say goodbye to this old friend. I’m gonna miss ya old pants…

Day 281 #Project365

281-365 dance practice

This was not her ‘nicest’ expression but it sure was one of the cheeky ones. And she has loads of them. Glad I captured this in what seemed like an ‘off’ day today. Nothing, photography wise, seemed to go right. Ms 4 here was in her (half) dress rehearsal for a dance performance next week with the other baby butterflies. Six more sleep to go …
