Day 352 #Project365

351-365, whiskey the dog

Nikon D90 | AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED | ISO500 | f/5.6 | 1/100|

This is Whiskey. He is a super duper active 2-year-old dog. He was surrounded and totally spoiled with treats by a bunch of kids today, maybe that’s why he looked so happy. I’m so glad to see that other dog finding it hard to stay clean. Like my dog.  Whiskey here was covered in cob/spider web all over his face and body, with some dried leaves and dust stuck on it too..

It’s a very different experience trying to capture Whiskey in a photo compare to my own dog, Bruno. Bruno is 9 and big and calm while this one is tiny and quick, and he just cannot keep still. I was lucky with this shot, I think he was just taking a breather before bouncing off in the yard again.

Day 340 #Project365

340-365, trimming tree

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

The Christmas tree decoration was today. Elf 01 and elf 02 were working together to help me decorate. Lovely little elves they are, working so well together. I could just watch them for hours…

Day 329 #Project365

329-365 run baby run
Nikon D90 | AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED | ISO640 | f/7.1 | 1/30 |

Run baby run.

When dinner time came and I still did not have any photo for today’s post, I knew it was time to go to the oval and let the kids run free. We missed the perfect golden hour light because it took forever for this family to get ready, so I focused more on the kids’ action while we were at the park. This shot is by  no means perfect, but I love it. Mr 8 looked like he flew and had a superb time!

Day 317 #Project365

317-365 liz and bub

A friend like L feels more like a sister most times than just a best friend. And I consider myself lucky I found several of these ‘sisters’ through out my youth. We kinda ‘adopted’ each other and manage to stay close over two decades. Or more.  Oceans apart (where most of them live anyway) and lapses of time don’t seem to matter. When you are close you are close no matter where you are. I’ve been enjoying every minute of this short visit.

Do you remember when was the last time you really, really really laughed out loud you almost had tears coming out? Well, mine was just 10 minutes ago..! 🙂
