My son’s Lego table looked great for a couple of days after that big clean in August. From then to now, more than 3 months long, the table was totally covered by Lego pieces that you couldn’t even see the surface anymore.
Today I couldn’t take it anymore. I could see some dust peeking through some of the pieces, so I just threw them all into the ‘half-way’ box (to be sorted out later), and separated all the ready-made pieces, and wiped the table clean. It felt damn good to be able to see the surface of the table again!

These are my son’s Heroes.
Now that the mess has been cleared out, I can now showcase them properly. Anyhow, we all know, these are not for display only, so I have no doubt this ‘photo pose’ position would only last for 5 minutes. Looking all my son’s Lego reminded me of Woody’s and Buzz’s conversation:
Woody: I have no choice, Buzz. This is my only chance.
Buzz Lightyear: To do what? Watch kids from behind glass and never be loved again? Some life. (Toy Story 2)
