To be an impromptu tour guide is an inevitable role when a friend comes from abroad to visit. I was playing that role for my friend earlier this week. I think it is good for us, who live in the visited town, to embrace this role every now and then. I went to places I haven’t been before even after all these years (I thought the inside of the Old Parliament House was quite interesting).
At the Cockington Green Garden, by now a very familiar place for me, I’ve noticed these beautiful flower bush that I’ve never noticed there before. I don’t know what their names are but I think they are quite lovely in their colours and beautiful long stems. It’s totally about looking at familiar things with new eyes for me, it’s brilliant!
Me like the way you see things in an ordinary thing as something beyond that when see it from different angles each time….
Sweet words, Tibi. Thank youuuuu!!!!
