Given how unbelievably cold today was it’s hard to believe that winter is soon going to be over. Its grip is still too strong when it should’ve eased off a little. Happy to see this little flower and the surrounding buds that couldn’t wait to pop open like little corn kennels in the microwave. It’s like nature’s ‘message’ to us for what’s to come.

I know that at the moment it feels like winter just drags on a bit longer, but as certain as the sun rises in the morning… spring is coming.
