The Canberra International Music Festival brought us to Kingston Foreshore today. It was a nice community event; great music, nice kiosks, lovely mulled wine and great companies. I was wearing my loyal converse with thin socks that gave me no warmth whatsoever. So once I could no longer feel my toes I decided it was time to head home.
We passed these baldies on our way back to the car park. I could never resist bald trees, so I managed to squeeze in a few shots before I freeze my fingers too. I think it was the first time I took tree photos at night-time. I love the way the light outlined the branches, it helped us see the whole shape of the tree in the dark and created such a specific mood.
Hey that’s a pretty cool photo, love the effect of the silhouetted branches!
thanks, RK!!
