6/52 Portrait Project – 2014

These lovely girls were prettily dressed in Indonesian traditional costumes yesterday to join the children’s parade at the annual Canberra Multicultural festival. It was such a hot day (around 39 degrees), and the kids had to wait a bit until the adults got organised and started the parade.

The portraits show the girls’ happy personality. The heat and the long wait didn’t seem to bother them, and believe me, there were many grumpy/cranky children (and adults) around who were just couldn’t stand to wait in the dry heat. These two surely could keep their cool, and always camera-ready.

Big eyes and big smiles. Oh so perfect!
